This is an exciting opportunity to join Moon Gazer Ale, working in the front line looking after our customers – which span the whole of East Anglia, with a focus on Norfolk and Suffolk. We have a varied product portfolio from cask beer, keg beer, lager, bottles, and cans.
Located in the village of Hindringham, North Norfolk these are exciting times as we are in the process of moving to larger premises in the village which will boast a taproom, shop, and event space – so we need to build the team ready for our next stage of development.
The role is office-based and may suit one full-time or two part-time positions. The role will include calling existing customers for orders and advising them of new beers or initiatives. Our customers include pubs, restaurants, shops, and delis – with many independent small businesses like us, so usually they will be glad to hear from you!
You will be responsible for processing orders through the brewery system to ensure timely despatch and maintaining accurate and detailed customer records. Experience of database software and online ordering systems would be an advantage – but training will be provided.
Although office and sales based, the role also offers a variety of interesting roles including visiting existing and potential customers at their premises, hosting sampling/tasting events, assisting with marketing and social media, and helping the brew team. There is also the opportunity to work at outside events and bars which we run.
We are looking for someone who has a good telephone manner, is great with people, strong on admin, database and computer skills, likes working as part of a small team but is self-motivated - and as part of a small team understands our ethos that often it’s the person closest to the broom who sweeps up!
