About Amplify Education
Our client, Amplify Education, is a bold new multi-academy trust launching in March 2026 through the thoughtful merger of Cathedral Schools Trust (CST) and Trust in Learning Academies (TiLA). Together, they will serve around 12,000 pupils across 22 schools, spanning nursery, primary, secondary and all-through settings across Bristol and the wider BS postcode area. Amplify’s mission is clear: to build belief, expand opportunity and strengthen citizenship for every child and young person.
Amply is rooted in the character and diversity of Bristol. While the Trust will be the largest Bristol-based MAT, each school will retain its own unique identity and community ethos – strengthened, not diluted, through collaboration.
The Opportunity
They are now seeking to appoint two Trustees to join the Board and help shape this major new chapter in Bristol’s educational landscape. Trustees will play a strategic role in stewarding the Trust’s vision, ensuring excellent governance, and providing both challenge and support to the executive team as Amplify grows and evolves.
Who We’re Looking For

- Are committed to educational equity, social justice and inclusion
