We are working with a successful, privately owned, multi-site manufacturing group to appoint a Group Finance Director in a pivotal board-level role, partnering closely with the owner. This is a broad, hands-on leadership position with real influence, offering the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a well-established, cash-generative business with clear ambitions for both organic growth and acquisition.

The Role

  • You'll take full ownership of the Group finance function while acting as a key member of the leadership team.
  • Leading and developing finance across a multi-site operation.
  • Driving performance, profitability and cash generation.
  • Partnering the Board on strategy, growth and decision-making.
  • Supporting and leading M&A and integration activity.
  • Providing commercial insight to support the next phase of expansion.

About You

We are looking for someone commercial, operationally strong and comfortable in an owner-led environment, with the ability to balance strategy and hands-on delivery. You might be:

  • An existing FD/CFO, or a high-potential Divisional FD / No.2 ready to step into a No.1 role.
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering or industrial sectors, and exposure to multi-site environments and growth activity (ideally M&A), will be highly beneficial.
