Our client is a Southwest based innovative, successful and acquisitive Private Equity backed manufacturing business, with an impressive track record of growth and success. They are now seeking to appoint a new role of Finance Director. The role reports to the CEO with full P&L responsibility.
The role will be to lead and manage the finance function, overseeing all financial and management accounting and reporting as well as providing strategic insight and support to the Board with regards to their financial business plan. You will identify any possible M&A targets and work with the PE Investors to deliver company budgets and financial strategy, including presenting in Board meetings.
With your team, you will lead on cash and working capital management alongside managing the treasury requirements of a multi-currency business, including banking, lawyer and advisory relationships.
For this role, we are keen to hear from experienced senior finance professionals who can offer a blend of operational acumen and strategic insight as well as experience of driving business growth and broad knowledge of running the finances of a PE backed mid-sized business. This is an outstanding opportunity which will suit a strong independent thinker with a sound understanding of key profit drivers in a manufacturing organisation. You must be a tenacious and pragmatic individual who is able to make sound judgement, with a positive constructive outlook.
