Moon Executive Search is delighted to have been retained to support a highly confidential search for a leading publishing business in the Southwest with significant geographical reach. This is an exciting role for a newly combined business, and one which will be very hands-on and a key report to the Managing Director.
This newly created Sales Director role will bring strategic expertise, helping the business to diversify product range and market penetration. We are seeking an individual with demonstrable experience within publishing sales or a closely aligned sector, with experience in National Accounts and managing a territory-based sales team.
Primary focus will be to map the market to understand the key players in product categories and develop a business plan covering pricing, products, and market potential. The ideal candidate will be commercially minded with an ability to take full ownership of the sales strategy and execution across all channels.
This is a unique opportunity to take a leading role in shaping the future B2B sales direction, working with a talented team, and making a real commercial impact. You must demonstrate a strategic mindset, evidencing a deep understanding of business and market dynamics, pricing strategy, and financial oversight, be highly results oriented and have a demonstrable track record of delivering against targets and driving revenue growth.
