- Reporting to - Operations Manager
- ROLE PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITES
The operations team is essentially the processing hub of the shipping and administration function and plays a crucial role in monitoring inbound shipments, supporting the account managers, processing customer orders and delivering excellent customer service .
- Monitoring the shared operations inbox and responding to customer queries and orders
- Processing high volumes of orders for bulk, independent and dropship customers
- Using customer systems and portals to process orders
- Using in house systems to arrange bookings, process delivery notes and manifests
- Liaising with couriers
- Answering retail and end consumer enquiries over the telephone and via email
- Communicating internally important feedback from customers
- Working to deadlines on time crucial accounts
- Liaising with the shipping team and advising customers of amendments to delivery dates
- Updating inventory on SAP and customer portals
- Liaising with the Operations Manager to ensure all orders are processed and delivered on time
- Completing new line forms (NLFs)
- Supporting the sales force with general operations to help reach the team’s objectives

- PREFERRED SKILLS
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Experience of SAP B1
- Experience of Microsoft programmes including Excel, Power Point and Word
