Moog Aircraft Group is looking for an apprentice trained, experienced Manual grinder to join the team at our facility based in Wolverhampton. You will be working on shifts once the training is completed.

Experience required:
  • Minimum 10 years experience in setting, operating Manual Cylindrical Machines (Preferably S20/RM 2500)
  • Precision manual cylindrical grinding experience, working to achieve tolerances of 0.00005”
Desired experience:
  • Flow plotting experience - understand fluid dynamics – routing and stimulation, mapping out fluid stream functions and generating hydraulic pressure profile.
  • Evaluate thermal expansion, face-to-face flange tolerances, and geometric constraints.
  • Experience in ensuring seamless flow distribution by grinding to drawing tolerance.
  • Mate grinding experience.
Security Clearance: Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role. Please note that in the event that clearance cannot be obtained, you may not be eligible for the role, and/or any offer of employment may be withdrawn on grounds of national security.
