Moog Aircraft Group is seeking experienced Assembly & Test Technicians to join our team at our Wolverhampton facility. At Moog, we focus on the customer, designing complex mechanical products that are often bespoke and high-profile. Our team works to exceptionally close tolerances, an essential requirement of the aerospace industry. Working 37 hours per week; Monday to Thursday 7.30 am – 4.15 pm and Friday 7.30 am – 11.30 am.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly and test of flight-critical actuators and subcomponents with high precision and accuracy.
  • Using measuring equipment such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges to inspect component parts.
  • Working from engineering drawings and component maintenance manuals.
  • Completing quality audits and taking responsibility for various aspects of the A&T process, including the release to service of repaired actuators.

Key Skills:

  • Apprentice trained (or equivalent level of qualification) ideally within Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience within an engineering/manufacturing role is essential, ideally within aerospace or related industries.
  • Good knowledge of assembly and test manufacturing.
  • Competent in reading and following different set procedures.
  • Experience working within an aerospace quality system is desirable.
  • Dynamic and proactive attitude.

Security Clearance: Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
