  • We are seeking a proactive and highly organised

Planner Buyer to join our Supply Chain team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of suppliers, coordinating purchasing activities, and ensuring materials are delivered in line with operational requirements.

Working closely with Strategic Sourcing, Regional Supply Chain teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in maintaining material availability, supporting production schedules, and driving supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain planning parameters and supplier data within business systems, including lead times and planning information.
  • Convert demand requirements into purchase orders in accordance with contractual agreements and company procedures.
  • Liaise with regional supplier management teams to obtain delivery commitments and provide accurate status updates.
  • Coordinate site operational requirements with regional supply chain teams.
  • Work closely with Goods Inwards and Receiving Inspection teams to ensure materials are delivered to the point of use when required.
  • Support supplier non-conformance activities and Return to Vendor (RTV) processes.
  • Resolve supply chain issues relating to delivery, quality, documentation, and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing to ensure contractual terms and conditions are effectively implemented.
  • Identify and escalate deviations from agreed supplier contracts and support resolution activities.
  • Manage a portfolio of suppliers and parts with a higher degree of complexity and responsibility.
