About the role: Responsible for leading complex technical assignments or engineering programmes acting as the engineering focal in support of design and analysis activities as part of a multidisciplinary project team with responsibility for the end results. The incumbent will have up to 5 direct reports for which he/she will provide administrative supervision and oversee work, in parallel with senior engineer abilities and accountabilities. The incumbent shall be technically focused, and tend to specialise either professionally in areas of competence (hydraulic, mechanical, etc.) or functionally (e.g. design / stress) and provide professional support or analysis to the product development function. The role typically requires a degree in engineering, though not essential.
