We are looking for a Deburrer Operative to join our manufacturing team in Tewkesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual who is eager to develop their skills within a precision engineering environment. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out deburring, machining, and basic sub-assembly tasks on a variety of components
- Operate equipment such as mills, lathes, grinders, drills, and cleaning/assembly tools
- Perform activities including edge breaking, polishing, blending, and contamination removal
- Read and work from engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Complete required quality checks, audits, and documentation
- Support processes such as cleaning, flow matching, and component assembly
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with company standards
- Contribute to lean manufacturing practices (5S, continuous improvement)
- Assist team members and support wider manufacturing activities when required

- Previous experience in deburring
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
- Good timekeeping and reliability
Shift Pattern: 2-Week Rotating AM/PM
AM: Mon–Thurs 6:00am–2:15pm; Fri 6:15am–11:45am
PM: Mon–Tues 2:00pm–9:15pm; Wed–Thurs 2:00pm–9:30pm; Fri 11:30am–7:30pm
Special Requirements: Flexibility to work in various manufacturing areas and adapt to changing tasks. Willingness to work overtime and adjust shift patterns as needed.
