Moog Aircraft Group is looking for an apprentice trained, experienced 5 Axis Milling Machinist to join the team at our facility based in Wolverhampton. At Moog, we are focused on the customer and for us this means designing complex mechanical products that are often bespoke and high profile. Our machinists work to exceptionally close tolerances, an essential requirement of the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities- CNC machining experience, able to set and run multiple machine/processes
- Experience of the setting and operating CNC 5 Axis Milling Work Centres
- Proven knowledge & experience of Matsuura and DMG machines is preferred
- To be able to carry out own 1st off inspection and check/complete the necessary quality documentation
- A recognised engineering apprenticeship
- Previous experience of engineering/manufacturing role ideally within aerospace industry
- Good knowledge of machining techniques & appropriate tooling
- Proven skills within a multi-axis/complex machining environment
- Attention to detail & accuracy, and process improvement techniques
- Using the relevant inspection techniques/equipment to achieve drawing tolerance
