Moog Aircraft Group is looking for an apprentice trained, experienced Manual Grinder to join the team. After training completion, you will work on shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Operating manual cylindrical machines.
- Ensuring grinding to drawing tolerance.
- Evaluating thermal expansion, face‑to‑face flange tolerances, and geometric constraints.
- Ensuring seamless flow distribution by grinding.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years experience in setting, operating Manual Cylindrical Machines (preferably S20/RM 2500).
- Precision manual cylindrical grinding experience, working to tolerances of 0.00005”.
- Flow plotting experience – understanding fluid dynamics, routing and stimulation, mapping fluid stream functions, generating hydraulic pressure profiles.
Security Clearance:
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
