Job Summary

Moog Aircraft Group is looking for an apprentice trained, experienced Manual Grinder to join the team. After training completion, you will work on shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Operating manual cylindrical machines.
  • Ensuring grinding to drawing tolerance.
  • Evaluating thermal expansion, face‑to‑face flange tolerances, and geometric constraints.
  • Ensuring seamless flow distribution by grinding.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years experience in setting, operating Manual Cylindrical Machines (preferably S20/RM 2500).
  • Precision manual cylindrical grinding experience, working to tolerances of 0.00005”.
  • Flow plotting experience – understanding fluid dynamics, routing and stimulation, mapping fluid stream functions, generating hydraulic pressure profiles.

Security Clearance

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
