Job Description Are you passionate about precision, process improvement, and driving excellence in manufacturing? Moog Military Aircraft Group Wolverhampton is seeking a proactive and technically adept OSV Quality Auditor to lead audits, support operator training, and champion continuous improvement across our production and development environments. You’ll play a critical role in assessing risk, ensuring process conformity, and enhancing product quality through hands-on inspection, collaboration, and problem-solving. This is a high-impact position ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, technical depth, and cross-functional teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute audits to evaluate process effectiveness and operator competency
- Assist in training operators on quality procedures and inspection methods
- Provide technical guidance to operators on workmanship standards
- Support Business Systems and product audits as needed
- Collaborate on problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
- Report findings and improvement opportunities to Management
- Sample inspect parts using advanced inspection techniques
What You’ll Bring
- Associate’s degree in a technological field or equivalent technical training (e.g., apprenticeship)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in precision machining, assembly, or test processes
- Experience in auditing techniques and statistical sampling methods
- Strong proficiency in inspection techniques, gaging, and test equipment
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently across diverse production areas
