Support may be available for candidates required to relocate closer to the Tewkesbury area, subject to business approval. \n Due to continued growth across our Commercial Aircraft Group, Moog is expanding its Manufacturing Engineering capability. \n Moog Commercial Aircraft Group in Tewkesbury is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical leadership across machining operations, New Product Introduction activities and manufacturing process development. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who can drive manufacturing excellence, support complex machining challenges and mentor others within the engineering team. \n Key Responsibilities \n \n Lead the development and implementation of lean manufacturing processes focused on quality, cost and delivery. \n Create and optimise machining processes for complex aerospace components using Siemens NX and associated CAD/CAM technologies. \n Provide Design for Manufacture (DfM) input during product development activities. \n Lead APQP activities such as PFMEA, Control Plans and MSA studies. \n Drive continuous improvement initiatives, reducing downtime and improving process capability. \n Review engineering drawings and recommend design improvements to enhance manufacturability and standardisation. \n Provide technical support to internal stakeholders and external suppliers. \n Mentor and support Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians in tooling, gauging and fixture design. \n Support strategic manufacturing initiatives and operational excellence programmes. \n \n What We're Looking For \n Essential \n \n Significant Manufacturing Engineering experience within a precision machining environment. \n 5 Axis Milling and/or Mill turn Background \n Advanced CNC programming expertise using Siemens NX. \n Strong knowledge of DfM, PFMEA, GD
