Working on military and commercial aircraft programmes, you'll take ownership of complex engineering challenges from concept through to qualified hardware that flies worldwide.

Moog Aircraft Group Tewkesbury is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer .

Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you'll lead the development of innovative aerospace products throughout the product lifecycle.

Due to the hands-on nature of development testing and prototype activity, engineers spend the majority of their time onsite, working directly with our laboratories, manufacturing teams and test facilities.

This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer who enjoys tackling challenging technical problems, taking ownership of complex projects, and seeing products progress from initial concepts to certified aerospace hardware.

As a Senior Product Development Engineer, you will act as a technical focal point across product development programmes, providing engineering leadership throughout the development lifecycle.

Owning the technical development of aerospace products from early concept through to flight qualification,
Translating customer requirements into robust engineering solutions, along with customer facing activities
Supporting the design and development of high-performance electrohydraulic aerospace components.

Coordinating technical activities and engineering deliverables to support successful product development.

Leading technical investigations and problem-solving activities to resolve complex engineering challenges.

Coordinating development and qualification testing.

Working closely with manufacturing, quality, test, programme management and supply chain teams to ensure successful product delivery.

Degree qualified in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems or a related Engineering discipline.

Experience leading technical activities throughout a structured product development lifecycle.

Strong understanding of verification, validation and qualification testing.

Ability to translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions.

Familiarity with APQP or equivalent product development methodologies.

Experience using Siemens NX or similar CAD software.

Experience with Mathcad, CFD, FEA or other engineering analysis tools.

Project planning experience, including MS Project.

Security Clearance
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
