Join Moog Aircraft Group as a Senior Engineer and play a key role in developing next-generation electrohydraulic components for major military and commercial aircraft programmes. You will take products from concept to certification, working hands-on with hardware and cutting-edge tools including FEA/CFD, high-performance computing, 3D printing, and in-house test facilities. You will lead complex technical work, guide design and analysis, support development testing, and represent Moog with customers. This role suits someone who thrives on solving tough engineering problems and enjoys variety.
We are looking for candidates with eight or more years of aerospace experience, strong airworthiness knowledge, and ideally familiarity with EASA Part 21.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Skills and Experience:- Deliver engineering tasks across APQP.
- Turn customer requirements into compliance statements and test procedures.
- Support performance validation (static, fatigue, vibration, thermal, fluid dynamics).
- Communicate technical work clearly to engineers and non-engineers.
- Apply 8D and DMAIC problem-solving.
- Lead feasibility reviews, trade studies, and technical decisions.
- Provide technical leadership and delegate effectively.
- Make disposition statements in line with airworthiness requirements and EASA Part 21 regulations.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Mechanical engineering background, Mathcad Prime, numerical analysis tools, advanced MS Office, GD&T and CAD (Siemens NX preferred), report checking/signatory experience, project management, aerospace materials knowledge, and mentoring capability.
- Engineering degree required.
