The successful candidate will have experience working in a quality, engineering or manufacturing development environment. They will have experience working with APQP and PPAP which will be key deliverables of this position.
Key Functions:- Support APQP integration into the Moog business system.
- Support the APQP implementation in new business programs.
- Generate and maintain internal and customer PPAP activities.
- Apply Zero Defect techniques across new and existing production programs.
- Collaborate with the site quality team and wider business to support production processes, emphasizing thorough investigation and robust corrective actions.
- Support cross functional teams in processing non-conformances and corrective actions as required.
- Participate in the integration of APQP into Moog's NPI process.
- Engage in advanced quality planning activities.
- Ensure customer requirements are incorporated into NPI processes.
- Provide quality and administrative support as needed.
- Attend customer facing meetings.
- Integrate lessons learned into APQP activities.
- Coordinate and monitor PPAP activities, including documentation review and reporting.
- Identify and implement improvements in manufacturing and A&T processes.
- Interact with Quality Engineering, Production Engineering, Design, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, and A&T representatives.
- Support compliance audits from regulatory bodies such as BSI, CAA, and EASA.
- Address corrective actions raised during customer and compliance audits.
- Exposure to APQP and PPAP, with at least 2 years of experience in general APQP and PPAP application.
- Experience of working in an AS9100 environment.
- Knowledge and practical experience with PFMEA (including PFD, CP, per AS13004).
- Knowledge and practical experience with Process Control General knowledge of MSA application.
- Experience in supporting NPI.
- Project management skills would be an advantage.
- Effective communication with external and internal customers.
- The successful candidate must be able to prioritize activities and effectively manage their workload to ensure progress is maintained.
