For you, working with us can mean deeper job satisfaction, better rewards, and a great quality of life inside and outside of work.Job Title :CNC Maintenance Technician Reporting To:Equipment Maintenance Manager Work Schedule:Onsite Tewkesbury, GBR Moog Aircraft Group is seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team in Tewkesbury on a 2-weekly rotating AM/PM shift pattern, with shift allowance added to basic pay.In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of CNC, mechanical, and electrical machine tools that support our advanced aerospace manufacturing and test operations. You will work closely with the Maintenance Team Lead and collaborate with fellow technicians to ensure production-critical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with quality standards.Training is provided on our specific machine models. As a generational company, we invest in people for the long term, building careers that last decades.What You Will Be Responsible ForDelivering preventative maintenance and repair support for CNC machine tools and related equipment; providing backup support for test systemsDiagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control faults on CNC machineryEnsuring all repairs meet internal and external audit standards, leaving equipment calibrated and production-readyManaging parts procurement and inventory for timely, cost-effective maintenanceMaintaining accurate risk assessments and adhering strictly to health and safety protocolsParticipating in 5S and continuous improvement initiativesSupporting a site with over 150 test systems, managing up to 10 concurrent support activitiesWhat You Will BringVocational qualification in engineering5+ years' hands-on experience in hydraulic, mechanical, mechatronic, or CNC machine maintenance rolesProven experience diagnosing and repairing CNC machine tools and controlsUnderstanding of electronic circuits, CNC systems, and fault-finding proceduresKnowledge of robotics is advantageous but not essentialA proactive, reliable approach with high personal standardsStrong team working skills and clear communication abilityPlease note: prior experience with our specific machine brands (Mazak, Star, Okuma) is not required.
