Our people enjoy solving interesting technical challenges in a culture where everyone trusts each other to do the right thing. For you, working with us can mean deeper job satisfaction, better rewards, and a great quality of life inside and outside of work.
At Moog Commercial Aircraft Group Tewkesbury, we're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in shaping how complex, precision-machined aerospace components are brought into production. This isn't just a support role - you'll influence design for manufacture, define machining strategy, and drive process capability across a technically demanding, high-spec environment. You'll work closely with design, quality, and operations teams, contributing to New Product Introduction (NPI) while also elevating existing processes through continuous improvement.
About You: You're an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in precision machining, taking pride in developing robust processes that consistently deliver high-quality results. You bring hands-on expertise in sliding head CNC machining, ideally with Star platforms, and are comfortable working in environments that demand tight tolerances and high standards. Confident across the product lifecycle from Design for Manufacture (DfM) through New Product Introduction (NPI) to production support, you enjoy solving complex technical challenges in a practical, shop-floor-focused way.
What You Bring:
- Have significant experience within aerospace or another regulated industry
- Are comfortable using CAD/CAM tools such as Siemens NX, PartMaker, FeatureCAM, or Vericut
- Understand APQP, lean manufacturing, and zero-defect principles
- Take a proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem-solving
- Enjoy sharing your knowledge and supporting others in developing their capability
- Most importantly, you care about doing things properly, improving how things are made, and making a real impact on the shop floor.
Why This Role?
- Work on complex, high-value aerospace components where engineering quality is critical
- Influence manufacturing strategy from early design through to production
- Join a team that values practical engineering expertise and continuous improvement
- Opportunity to mentor others and shape best practice across the function
What We Offer: Competitive salary and flexible benefits package (dependent on experience) 33 days annual leave.
