We are looking for a motivated Aerospace Assembler & Tester to join our Manufacturing Operations team in Tewkesbury. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-precision aerospace environment, assembling, disassembling, testing, and supporting the manufacture of critical aerospace components including valves, manifolds, and actuators. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of assembly and testing activities while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and disassemble aerospace components and assemblies.
  • Clean new and aftermarket parts and products in preparation for assembly.
  • Perform flow-matching operations using AMP stands as required.
  • Carry out wire-locking, labelling, and finishing activities.
  • Follow approved engineering documentation, drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Accurately complete production records, operation sheets, and travellers.
  • Inspect your own work in accordance with quality standards and audit requirements.
  • Use a variety of hand tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  • Support engineering teams, colleagues, and customers where appropriate.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing activities, including 5S and Kaizen initiatives.

Desirable

  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or production experience.
  • Experience using hand tools, measuring equipment, and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S.
  • Experience working within a regulated or quality-controlled environment.

  • Complete required training and quality audits.
  • Demonstrate flexibility across Assembly & Test areas in line with business needs.
