We're looking for a Deburr Operator to support our aerospace manufacturing operation by ensuring machined components meet exacting quality and performance standards.
Working with highly engineered parts, you'll be responsible for transforming machined components into finished products ready for assembly and flight‑critical applications.

- What You'll Be Doing
- Precision Finishing & Deburring
- Removing burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined aerospace components.
- Performing finishing activities including polishing, blending, chamfering, and radiusing.
- Ensuring parts meet exact surface finish and dimensional requirements.
- Working carefully with intricate and high‑value aerospace components.
- Quality & Inspection
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
- Inspecting components using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and visual inspection tools.
- Identifying and reporting any non‑conformances.
- Maintaining the highest standards of quality and attention to detail.
- Supporting Manufacturing Operations
- Collaborating closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.
- Preparing components for downstream processes including coating, assembly, and shipment.
- Following established aerospace quality and safety standards.
- Equipment Care
- Maintaining deburring tools and equipment in good working order.
- Reporting wear, damage, or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Ensuring a safe and organised work area.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in deburring, metal finishing, polishing, or precision manufacturing.
- Strong manual dexterity and excellent hand‑eye coordination.
- The ability to work accurately with small, detailed, and complex components.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical instructions.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Desirable experience in aerospace, automotive, machining, or precision engineering.
- Knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, or similar quality standards.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience working with materials such as aluminium, titanium, or composites.
Training will be on days, then you will move to a shift pattern of mornings and afternoons. (6am - 2pm, 2pn-10pm) which attracts a shift allowance.
