Moog Aircraft Group is seeking experienced Assembly & Test Technicians (A&T Technician) to join our team at the Wolverhampton facility. The role focuses on the customer, designing complex mechanical products that are often bespoke and high-profile.
Work Schedule: Onsite – Wolverhampton, GBR. Working 37 hours per week; Monday to Thursday 7:30 am – 4:15 pm and Friday 7:30 am – 11:30 am.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly and test of flight‑critical actuators and subcomponents with high precision and accuracy.
- Using measuring equipment such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges to inspect component parts.
- Working from engineering drawings and component maintenance manuals.
- Completing quality audits and taking responsibility for various aspects of the A&T process, including the release to service of repaired actuators.
Key Skills:
- Apprentice trained (or equivalent level of qualification) ideally within Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience within an engineering/manufacturing role, ideally within aerospace or related industries.
- Good knowledge of assembly and test manufacturing.
- Competent in reading and following different set procedures.
- Experience working within an aerospace quality system is desirable.
- Dynamic and proactive attitude.
Security Clearance: Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role. If clearance cannot be obtained you may not be eligible for the role, and/or any offer of employment may be withdrawn on grounds of national security.
