We are seeking a Learning & Development Manager on a 6-month interim basis to support our UK operations across Tewkesbury and Wolverhampton. This is an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact by helping to deliver high-quality learning experiences, support leadership development initiatives and nurture the next generation of talent through our early careers programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Learning & Development activities across Moog's UK sites, ensuring programmes are delivered effectively and align with business needs.
  • Support managers and employees with learning and development queries, providing advice and guidance that encourages ownership of personal development and career growth.
  • Manage relationships with external training providers, colleges and learning partners, ensuring quality, compliance and value for money.
  • Organise and coordinate training activities, workshops, leadership programmes and development events.
  • Deliver and coordinate manager induction programmes and support onboarding activities for early careers employees.
  • Identify development needs with managers and HR partners and facilitate appropriate learning solutions that support individual and business performance.
  • Maintain learning records, training compliance data and reporting requirements.
  • Lead the coordination of Moog's Early Careers programmes, including apprenticeships, graduate schemes and internships.
  • Maximise apprenticeship levy utilisation and ensure compliance with apprenticeship funding requirements.
  • Identify and develop partnerships and initiatives with schools, universities, colleges and professional bodies to support the needs of our talent pipeline, in collaboration with HR and relevant stakeholders.
  • Partner with Resourcing and HRBPs to ensure an excellent development experience for apprentices, graduates and interns.
  • Evaluate training feedback and programme effectiveness, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Maintain a regular presence across the Tewkesbury and Wolverhampton sites, travelling as required to support stakeholders and learning activities.

About You:

You are an experienced and highly motivated Learning & Development professional with a practical, hands-on approach to delivering learning initiatives and supporting employee development. You have experience managing training programmes, coordinating learning activities and building strong relationships with stakeholders, training providers and employees at all levels.

You are customer-focused, highly organised and confident managing multiple priorities, with a strong understanding of early careers programmes and learning administration. You are passionate about helping others develop and are motivated by creating a positive employee learning experience that supports business performance.

You thrive in collaborative environments and naturally build trusted relationships through open communication, integrity and respect for others. You enjoy working across functions, influencing stakeholders and creating development opportunities that empower individuals to take ownership of their growth.

You are adaptable, proactive and comfortable working to make an immediate impact during a 6-month interim assignment. You bring a continuous improvement mindset and are committed to fostering a culture of learning, accountability and inclusion.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications:

  • CIPD or recognised HR/L&D qualification.
  • Experience managing apprenticeship programmes and apprenticeship levy funding.
  • Experience delivering leadership and management development initiatives.
  • Knowledge of, or interest in, manufacturing or engineering environments.
