As Moog continues to strategically increase its external supply chain, we are seeking experienced Manufacturing Engineers to support the development, onboarding, and growth of our suppliers. This role ensures stable, capable manufacturing processes that enable consistent delivery to customer demand. You will work across the full product lifecycle, influencing design, supplier selection, process development, and ongoing improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers to evaluate and improve manufacturing processes
  • Act as the Manufacturing Engineering SME within cross-functional supplier teams
  • Understand design intent and ensure clear requirements flow-down to suppliers
  • Support Design for Excellence (DfX) activities
  • Lead problem-solving using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Assess manufacturing capability for new suppliers and conduct gap analysis
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Commodity teams

About You

  • Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing or related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years’ Manufacturing Engineering experience
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T
  • Data-driven problem-solving skills
  • Experience in manufacturing capability assessment
  • Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and capability analysis
  • Strong stakeholder management skills

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in internal and supply chain manufacturing
  • New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
  • Knowledge of aerospace standards (AS9102, AS9103, AS9145)
  • Experience with machining, assembly, and complex components
