Responsible for leading complex technical assignments or engineering programmes acting as the engineering focal in support of design and analysis activities as part of a multidisciplinary project team with responsibility for the end results. As a Lead Engineer, the incumbent will have up to 5 direct reports for which he/she will provide administrative supervision and oversee work, in parallel with senior engineer abilities and accountabilities.

As a Senior Engineer, the incumbent shall be technically focused, and tend to specialise either professionally in areas of competence (hydraulic, mechanical, etc.) or functionally (e.g. design / stress) and provide professional support or analysis to the product development function. The role typically requires a degree in engineering, though not essential.
