Moog Aircraft Group Tewkesbury is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Induction Assembler/Finisher to join our Manufacturing team in Tewkesbury. This hands-on role supports both New Build and Aftermarket Aerospace and Industrial programmes, contributing to high-quality component assembly and finishing. We’re committed to your growth. This role offers a clear path to progress to Semi-Skilled Assembler/Finisher within two years, with opportunities to advance to Level 2, Level 3, Cell Trainer, or Cell Leader roles.
Key Responsibilities- Perform manual operations on components and sub-assemblies
- Carry out basic fitting, nulling, deburring, and surface grinding tasks
- Conduct bench testing, wire rating, and pressure testing
- Use hand tools, gauges, winding machines, and measuring equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Complete quality audits and achieve self-certification
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives including 5S and TPM
- Flexibly assist across manufacturing areas as needed
- A reasonable standard of education
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Positive attitude toward lean principles and continuous improvement
- Good timekeeping and attendance record
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and across Moog sites when required
This role operates on a permanent PM shift schedule:
- Monday & Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 9:15 PM
- Wednesday & Thursday: 2:00 PM – 9:30 PM
- Friday: 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM
