Are you an experienced Employee Relations professional looking for your next opportunity?
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Employee Relations Advisor to join our HR team at our Tewkesbury manufacturing site on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an influential, hands-on role where you will advise managers, lead ER casework, and build leadership capability through coaching and development - making a real impact in an environment where people, continuous improvement, and collaboration are central to success.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide expert advice on discipline, grievance, absence, capability, flexible working & all ER matters
- Manage end-to-end ER cases - investigations, documentation, resolutions - balancing compliance, fairness & business needs
- Analyse trends & root causes to drive improvements in workplace relations
- Coach managers on employment legislation, policy & best practice
- Support employee engagement & communications as HR representative on the Employee Communications Council
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 3 years' hands-on ER experience across all ER areas
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law & compliance
- Proven track record in coaching & developing managers
- Strong organisational skills - able to work under pressure & manage a varied workload
- Flexible to support operational shift patterns
- CIPD Level 5+ (desirable) & manufacturing experience (desirable)
