This is a hands-on, systems-level role at the heart of Moog's engineering excellence. You will work closely with our Test Systems Design team to integrate, verify, and validate complex machinery comprising mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, and power distribution components.
What you’ll do:
- Commission new Test Equipment in line with technical requirements, schedule, and budget expectations
- Support mechanical and electrical assembly, acting as a key interface between build teams and Design Engineering
- Lead integration and formal verification testing, resolving non-conformances and ensuring full requirement coverage
- Facilitate customer validation and correlation testing activities
- Annotate part and assembly drawings to reflect 'as built' condition and contribute to verification documentation
- Independently troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Support calibration procedure development and facility readiness (hydraulic/electrical service integration)
- Champion Health & Safety practices throughout all commissioning activities
What you bring:
- HNC/HND or equivalent in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
- Apprenticeship-trained background (advantageous)
- 5+ years in aerospace, automotive, or other complex engineering environments
- Proven experience with Test Systems or Test Equipment commissioning
- Ability to interpret and troubleshoot from electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, Subversion/JIRA, Teamcenter, or NX (a plus, not a must)

- Flexible benefits package and development opportunities to support career progression
- 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
- Private medical insurance, mental health support and financial advice
- Generous life assurance and company pension contribution (from 6%)
- Employee share options, free onsite parking, EV charging
