We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner skilled in operating 3-axis lathes, capable of running machines from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with either Okuma or Siemens control systems. This position starts on the day shift with the opportunity for overtime, potentially leading to double days. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate multiple CNC machines/processes.
- Perform first-off inspections and complete necessary quality documentation.
Key Experience:
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship.
- Previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing role, ideally within the aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and appropriate tooling.
- Proven skills in a multi-axis/complex machining environment.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and process improvement techniques.
- Proficiency in using relevant inspection techniques/equipment to achieve drawing tolerances.
Additional Information:
This role follows a day shift pattern and may in the future lead to a double-day shift pattern with overtime as requested.
Candidates must be self-certified and hold a quality stamp after the qualifying period.
