Job Title: CNC/Manual Grinder

Reporting To: Team Leader Parts Generation

Work Schedule: Onsite – Wolverhampton, GBR

Job Summary
Moog Aircraft Group is looking for an apprentice-trained, experienced Manual / CNC Grinder to join the team at our Wolverhampton facility. We focus on designing complex, often bespoke, high-profile mechanical products. Our Machinists work to exceptionally close tolerances, essential in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities Include

  • Operate and set Manual Studer machines S20/RM250 and CNC machines (Studer S33/S31)
  • Machine exotic and hardened materials
  • Perform own 1st off inspection and complete quality documentation
  • Perform precision manual land grinding to achieve limits of 0.00005\”
  • Set and run multiple machines/processes
  • Work in 3-shift patterns, with a preference for night shifts

Key Skills and Experience

  • Recognised engineering apprenticeship
  • Experience with mate grinding
  • Previous experience in aerospace manufacturing
  • Knowledge of machining techniques and tooling
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and process improvement
  • Proficient in inspection techniques/equipment to meet drawing tolerances

The candidate must be self-certified and hold a quality stamp after the qualifying period.

Security Clearance
