Moog Aircraft Group is seeking experienced Assembly & Test Technicians to join our team at our Wolverhampton facility on a 12-month Fixed term contract.

Our team works to exceptionally close tolerances, an essential requirement of the aerospace industry. Working 37 hours per week; Monday to Thursday 7.30 am – 4.15 pm and Friday 7.30 am – 11.30 am.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly and test of flight-critical actuators and subcomponents with high precision and accuracy.
Using measuring equipment such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges to inspect component parts.
Working from engineering drawings and component maintenance manuals.
Completing quality audits and taking responsibility for various aspects of the A&T process, including the release to service of repaired actuators.
Key Skills:
Apprentice trained (or equivalent level of qualification) ideally within Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience within an engineering/manufacturing role is essential, ideally within aerospace or related industries.
Good knowledge of assembly and test manufacturing.
Competent in reading and following different set procedures.
Experience working within an aerospace quality system is desirable.
Dynamic and proactive attitude.
Security Clearance
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role. Please note that in the event that clearance cannot be obtained, you may not be eligible for the role, and/or any offer of employment may be withdrawn on grounds of national security.
