Overview
Moog Aircraft are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Process Development Lead to join the SC Business Improvement team in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. Supporting the on-going implementation of SAP S/4 Hana and embedding the processes and learning with the wider Supply Chain team. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of supply chain management principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Development: Design, develop, and implement supply chain processes that align with company goals and industry best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Data Analysis: Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement solutions based on data-driven insights.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of supply chain processes.
- Project Management: Lead and manage supply chain projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
- Training and Development: Provide training and support to supply chain staff on new processes and tools. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure all supply chain processes comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and report on supply chain performance.
Qualifications
Education: Degree in appropriate discipline is desirable. CIPS desirable. Lean/continuous improvement certified – preferred but not essential.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process development and improvement.
