Schedule: Onsite – Luton, GBR Join us at the forefront of radar innovation.

We're looking for a Junior Hardware Engineer to help develop advanced 79GHz and 94GHz radar systems used for Foreign Object Debris (FOD) detection in airport environments.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on cutting‑edge RF, mm Wave, and digital hardware from design through to deployment.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Support the design, prototyping and testing of RF, mm Wave and mixed‑signal hardware.
  • Perform lab validation using VNAs, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes and other test equipment.
  • Assist with antenna integration, performance testing and troubleshooting.
  • Support FCC/CE compliance and certification activities.
  • Develop test fixtures, procedures and simple automation tools using Python or MATLAB.
  • Contribute to product improvements, manufacturing transfer and field trials.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Degree, HNC/HND, BTEC or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of RF fundamentals and electronic hardware design.
  • Hands‑on laboratory experience from projects, internships or industry.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies
