Skills and Competencies
- 10+ years of experience in new business development, with a strong track record of originating and closing complex enterprise sales opportunities
- Proven ability to identify, develop and expand relationships with large corporate clients across multiple industries and geographies
- Strong understanding of account management across multiple use cases, product lines and stakeholder groups
- Knowledge of key corporate sectors including Energy is preferred
- Experience selling Compliance Solutions, Credit Risk Assessment Solutions, Procurement Solutions, Master Data Management Solutions or Data Solutions is preferred
- Exceptional networking, prospecting and C-suite engagement skills with the ability to influence senior decision makers and build long-term commercial partnerships
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively in virtual and in-person environments
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
- Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges
- Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field required
- Fluency in English required and additional European language skills are advantageous
Responsibilities
- Drive growth and expand Moody’s corporate market presence across Europe and Africa by developing new business opportunities with large corporate clients
- Identify, prioritize and engage new customers, contacts and prospects across assigned markets and industry sectors
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to uncover opportunities, expand relationships and increase adoption of Moody’s solutions
- Lead business development initiatives focused on scaling existing customer relationships and capturing new market opportunities
- Create and execute targeted campaigns and outreach strategies to engage white space accounts and generate qualified opportunities
- Build, maintain and communicate accurate sales forecasts, performance metrics and pipeline updates
- Leverage deep understanding of corporate market dynamics to identify customer opportunities, emerging risks and evolving business needs
- Collaborate with product specialists, domain experts and internal stakeholders to advance opportunities and successfully close new business
- Share customer feedback, competitive insights and market intelligence with internal teams and leadership to support business strategy and product development
- Manage workload independently while maintaining a high level of productivity and pursuing growth opportunities across the market
- Travel up to 50% to meet clients and prospects while operating effectively within a hybrid working environment

The team delivers the full breadth of Moody’s enterprise capabilities by helping clients address strategic, risk, compliance and data-related challenges. By joining this team, you will work closely with industry experts, product specialists and commercial leaders to accelerate growth, unlock new opportunities and support the adoption of innovative technologies and data-driven solutions across diverse industries.
