Skills and Competencies

  • Strong compensation expertise, including pay transparency, pay equity, governance, and broad-based compensation programs.
  • Proven project and program management experience, including leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and data storytelling skills with the ability to convert complex information into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive presentations and change management materials.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in a matrixed environment.
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency.

Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field required.

Professional certification (e. g., CCP) and/or project management credential (e. g., PMP) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

The AVP, Global Compensation Programs will lead the planning and execution of key compensation initiatives that support Moody's global compensation strategy.

  • Lead coordination of Moody's global pay transparency and pay equity initiatives.
  • Support implementation of the EU Pay Transparency Directive and other regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop practical solutions, governance processes, and implementation plans.
  • Support the delivery of enterprise compensation initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Develop project plans, governance frameworks, stakeholder communications, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage risks, dependencies, and project deliverables.
  • Support the design and enhancement of compensation programs through research, benchmarking, analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop compensation communications, training materials, leader resources, and change management plans.
  • Maintain compensation governance frameworks, playbooks, and implementation guides.
  • Transform compensation, market, pay equity, and workforce data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, dashboards, scorecards, and reporting materials that support decision-making.

The Global Compensation Center of Excellence designs and supports compensation programs that help Moody's attract, retain, and motivate talent around the world.

Our team works across executive compensation, equity administration, broad-based compensation, and enterprise compensation programs.

In this role, you'll help shape the future of compensation at Moody's by advancing pay transparency and pay equity initiatives, strengthening governance, driving program innovation, and using data to support better decisions across the organization.
