Skills and Competencies

  • 3-6 years of operational control, business process and/or business analysis experience with strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to interact comfortably with different levels of management and articulate/present issues clearly and succinctly
  • Self-starter and team player with ability to meet tight deadlines and balance multiple competing priorities
  • Highly organized and efficient, with attention to detail and excellent communication and project management skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills with ability to influence, navigate ambiguity and drive consensus to achieve objectives
  • Knowledge of Moody’s rating systems, analysis tools and operational processes
  • Excellent PowerPoint and visualization skills a must; knowledge of Power BI and other data analytics/visualization skills a plus
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies
  • Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field

Responsibilities

  • Support senior team lead(s) in collaborating with key stakeholders across MR to identify and implement opportunities for improvement in our digital transformation efforts globally. Stakeholders include Ratings & Research, Ratings Operations & Controls, Technology, Compliance, Government and Public Affairs, Legal teams.
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions to implement new regulatory or other requirements, improve process effectiveness/efficiency, or remediate identified issues
  • Develop subject matter expertise on the end-to-end credit rating processes, global regulatory policies and procedures, and operational procedures and guidelines
  • Prepare discussion materials and recommendations, document decisions and follow-ups, perform assigned tasks to meet initiative objectives
  • Align initiatives and decisions across technology, digital strategy, and operational teams
  • Create/update supporting content and training materials (e.g. communications, Guidelines, FAQ’s, presentations, etc.)
  • Implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges

About the Team

Our Regulatory Support & Controls team is responsible for managing operational processes and controls that ensure Moody’s Ratings activities comply with global regulatory and internal requirements. By joining our team, you will contribute to Moody's ability to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant credit ratings, strengthen operational resilience, and drive continuous improvement across Ratings.
