Skills and Competencies

  • 5–7 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on content ideation and development
  • Strong understanding of and interest in banking, particularly KYC and regulation, as well as the credit process, risk, and compliance
  • Ability to identify opportunities for audience-centric thought leadership to ensure campaigns are relevant and differentiated
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Experience working within financial services or banking is preferred
  • Strong content development expertise and editorial judgment, overseeing the creation and adaptation of impactful materials such as white papers, blogs, webinars, and case studies while maintaining Moody’s brand standards
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with demonstrated experience developing B2B content across long- and short-form formats
  • Experience designing content for marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
  • Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills, partnering with internal teams across product, sales, marketing, and subject matter experts to align campaign goals and Banking-specific priorities
  • Ability to design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns for the banking segment, including structured campaign planning, content adaptation, and cohesive messaging aligned with Moody’s overall marketing objectives
  • Strong creative skills with the ability to guide branding teams to deliver engaging and high-impact assets
  • Good grasp of artificial intelligence and applying AI tools to streamline processes, uncover insights, and improve marketing efficiency
  • Curious and forward-thinking mindset, with a commitment to exploring emerging technologies and applying responsible AI practices, including risk management, ethical use, and transparency
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

Education

  • BA in Journalism, Finance, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • The Assistant Director, Content and Campaigns, Banking will lead the end-to-end development and execution of marketing activations to drive engagement, pipeline growth, and alignment with Moody’s Banking segment strategy.
  • Develop and execute integrated, multi-channel marketing activations aligned to Banking segment priorities and target audiences
  • Own content strategy, including activation narrative, content creation, and asset development
  • Partner with subject matter experts, solutions teams, and demand generation teams to ensure activations support pipeline generation and revenue objectives
  • Translate complex banking and regulatory concepts into clear, compelling, customer-focused content
  • Oversee briefing and development of marketing assets, ensuring consistency with Moody’s brand standards
  • Leverage performance data and insights to optimize engagement and conversion outcomes
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
  • Stay informed on banking market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to enhance campaign effectiveness
  • Contribute to the adoption of innovative approaches, including the use of AI tools to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness

About the Team

Moody’s Banking Marketing team is responsible for defining and delivering thought leadership and go-to-market strategies that generate qualified leads and support revenue growth. The team works closely with solutions, demand generation, and analytics partners to create targeted, high-impact campaigns aligned to client needs. In this role, you will contribute to high-visibility, cross-functional initiatives, helping to position Moody’s Banking solutions in a dynamic global marketplace and enabling clients to navigate complex financial and regulatory environments with confidence.
