Responsibilities

Moody’s has launched a Marketing Rotation Program designed to provide foundational, hands‑on exposure across our global marketing organisation. The programme enables recent marketing graduates to develop their skills, deepen their understanding of our business and products, and discover their preferred career path; all while making a real impact from day one. The Moody’s Marketing team has an inclusive, team‑oriented culture that values both collaboration and measurable results. Participants will join a close‑knit marketing cohort of four and a broader sales cohort of twenty, creating a strong professional community from their very first day.

Program Structure

  • Two-year rotation program comprising four 6-month assignments
  • Locations: New York and London (hybrid, 3 days per week in-office)
  • Exposure across Moody’s Operating Units (OUs) and Lines of Business (LoBs)
  • Three rotations within marketing disciplines, plus one elective in Sales Operations, Customer Engagement / Client Support, or Sales Development
  • Structured learning through classroom training, on‑the‑job experience, mentoring, and regular feedback from a dedicated Programme Manager
  • Participants receive a permanent placement within the Moody’s marketing organisation upon successful programme completion

Rotation Areas & Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary across rotations. Typical activities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Events

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute virtual, hybrid, and in‑person events including industry conferences, client roundtables, webinars, and thought leadership summits
  • Manage logistics end‑to‑end: venue sourcing, vendor liaison, registration management, promotional communications, and post‑event reporting
  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to align event themes with Moody’s commercial priorities and audience interests
  • Track and analyse event performance metrics (attendance, engagement, pipeline influence) and present insights to stakeholders
  • Support budget tracking and reconciliation to ensure events are delivered on time and within budget

Demand Activation

  • Support the development and execution of integrated demand generation campaigns across digital, content, and event channels to drive qualified pipeline
  • Assist with the creation of compelling campaign assets including email sequences, landing pages, social content, and paid media copy
  • Conduct audience segmentation and persona research to inform targeting strategies and personalise messaging
  • Monitor campaign KPIs (MQLs, conversion rates, cost per lead) and provide actionable recommendations to optimise performance
  • Partner with Sales Development Representatives to ensure smooth lead handoff and alignment between marketing programmes and sales follow‑up

Marketing Operations

  • Support the management and optimisation of Moody’s marketing technology stack, including CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms
  • Assist in building, testing, and deploying automated workflows and nurture programmes to improve lead quality and speed‑to‑engagement
  • Maintain data hygiene standards within marketing databases, ensuring accurate segmentation, lead scoring, and attribution reporting
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into the full marketing funnel, campaign performance, and ROI
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement best practices across the marketing organisation

Product Marketing

  • Develop a deep understanding of Moody’s product portfolio, value propositions, and competitive landscape to support go‑to‑market strategies
  • Assist in creating impactful product marketing collateral including pitch decks, data sheets, case studies, and sales enablement materials
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify positioning opportunities and inform messaging frameworks
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, and Research teams to support new product launches and campaigns
  • Contribute to customer story development; gathering evidence of impact and translating it into compelling narratives
