Role/Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture strong client relationships across a portfolio of customers investing in securitization (ABS/MBS and CLOs) and private credit, acting as a trusted advisor to support their analysis of fixed-income, whole loans portfolios and structured finance investments.
- Design and deliver customized cashflow and data solutions tailored to client needs, troubleshoot cashflows and data, and provide technical guidance on structured finance analytics.
- Lead and execute client-facing projects, ensuring timely delivery, clear communication, and alignment with customer objectives, while balancing competing priorities.
- Collaborate effectively with a global team of project managers, developers, data analysts and business analysts to develop and implement innovative features and enhancements for analytic and data products.
- Provide expertise in the installation, integration, and customization of solutions for fixed-income analytics, assisting clients with system implementation, training, and ongoing support to maximize adoption and value.
- Interpret and analyze complex legal documents (e.g., offering memorandums, indentures) to model compliance reports, cashflow projections, and performance tests for structured finance transactions.
- Conduct detailed analysis of loan tapes to ensure accurate data mapping, validate compliance reports, generate cashflow projections, and perform performance testing for structured finance transactions, ensuring alignment with deal-specific requirements and industry standards.
- Serve as an advocate for clients by identifying opportunities to improve analytic solutions and processes, ensuring alignment with their investment strategies and operational needs.
- Travel occasionally to meet clients, deliver training, and provide on-site support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Degree in engineering, finance, economics, or a related field preferred; strong academic background with demonstrated analytical rigor.
- Ability to interpret investment documents, including legal structures for securitized products.
- Exceptional quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights for clients.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage and influence senior financial professionals at leading institutions.
