Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated comfort with data and analytics.
  • Experience working in Agile and fast-paced environments and managing multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proven experience working with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI), Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce.com).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of confidence interacting with stakeholders and senior business professionals.
  • Superior time management ability and demonstrated experience as a self-starter with a commitment to delivering beyond expectations.
  • High-level understanding of the insurance and/or financial services sector.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges.
  • Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in a business-related field required.

Responsibilities

  • The Associate Strategist supports key commercial strategy initiatives across the Insurance Business Unit, delivering objective insights and actionable recommendations that inform business strategies and identify future growth opportunities.
  • Assist senior strategists in conducting market research and prototype market testing with customers and prospects to identify and validate new growth opportunities across customer, product, and market segments.
  • Support the development of detailed business cases, including addressable market estimations and ARR projections for new initiatives.
  • Assist in defining and implementing commercial strategies in coordination with internal departments, including Product, GTM, customer engagement, sales, and marketing.
  • Support senior market strategists in defining value propositions and high-level go-to-market plans based on market findings.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Moody's solutions and their value propositions.
