Responsibilities
- Calculate, review, and ensure timely and accurate royalty and information provider compensation reporting in line with contractual terms and control policies.
- Prepare and review external and internal financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand changes in financial conditions, policies, contracts or procedures impacting royalty processes.
- Review and prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits as well as the internal SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Identify, research, and resolve operational issues through regular and ad‑hoc financial analysis.
- Provide detailed reporting, insights, and reviews to the line manager and senior stakeholders as required.
- Support the execution of ad‑hoc requests and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on standardization, efficiency, and data quality.
About The Team
The Royalties Team, part of Finance Operations, is responsible for the end‑to‑end operational management of Information Providers’ compensation across Moody’s businesses. The team ensures accurate processing, reconciliation, and reporting of royalty and information provider invoices in line with contractual terms, internal controls, and accounting principles. By acting as a central point of contact for internal stakeholders and external data providers, the team plays a key role in supporting transparency, compliance, and consistency in managing licensed data costs across the organization.
