Skills And Competencies

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience with a strong emphasis on events and relationship management, specifically focused on universities, academia, or external partnership development within a corporate setting.
  • Proven expertise in event and/or project management, including high level of organization, attention to detail, ability to manage complex timelines, coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders, and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to build credibility, influence stakeholders, and foster strong external partnerships.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with university career services, faculty members, external organizations, and senior business stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 5-7 times per year, including potential international travel.
  • Experience working within the financial services, professional services, or technology sectors preferred.
  • Familiarity with global university systems and talent acquisition best practices preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges.
  • Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • The Early Careers Talent Attraction Specialist – University Partnerships & Engagement will support the development and execution of strategic university and external partner relationships that strengthen Moody’s early talent pipeline and enhance employer brand visibility for key programs and across multiple regions.
  • Support a portfolio of strategically designated universities and external partners, contributing to annual engagement plans and long-term relationship strategies that advance talent attraction, early-identification pipeline development, and executive visibility initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Talent Attraction, Communications, and business stakeholders to strengthen Moody’s employer brand through targeted engagement, thought leadership opportunities, and experiential programming.
  • Serve as liaison with university career services teams, faculty members, department leaders, external partners, and internal stakeholders to help ensure engagement activities are coordinated, impactful, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Support high-visibility projects related to university partnerships, insight programs, and large-scale early careers events, ensuring successful planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate business participation in university events and relationship-building activities.
  • Track event and program outcomes, including budget and key performance metrics, to support ROI reporting to leadership.
  • Manage operational logistics for attraction events and university programs, including vendor coordination, branded materials, shipping, inventory management, and event execution.
  • Support recruiting for a limited number of assigned requisitions during periods of high team volume, managing candidate flow through the hiring process in partnership with hiring managers and the broader Talent Attraction team.
