Skills and Competencies Basic understanding of accounting principles Excellent attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication skills, especially in explaining complex concepts to a senior audience Highly organized and efficient Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to work independently Entry-level position with relevant experience or internships Fluency in English and French (reading skills in French required) Education B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics Responsibilities The FDA supports the ratings teams through financial analysis and project work, primarily supporting Corporate Finance and Infrastructure Lines of Business: Perform financial statement analyses, adjust data as per methodology, analyze ratios Collaborate with ratings and support analysts to explain data and adjustments Liaise with analysts and specialists to understand accounting applications Review, adjust, and publish data for market participants Engage in technology projects, process improvements, and documentation updates This role offers growth opportunities in the financial sector About The Team The Data & Analytics team supports various lines of business globally, contributing significantly to the rating process.
