Qualifications

  • Holds an undergraduate degree in a business-related field; an MBA or other graduate degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in strategy, product, and the compliance / KYC / third-party risk industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Market & Competitive Intelligence: Proactively analyse market trends, regulatory developments, customer needs, and competitor strategies to identify whitespace, risks, and long-term opportunities that guide strategic direction.
  • Own the Product Vision & Roadmap: Define a clear, compelling vision for the Compliance/third-party risk product portfolio, translating customer problems into a prioritised roadmap focused on high-value outcomes and long-term growth.
  • Shape Value Proposition & Positioning: Develop differentiated messaging, use case frameworks, and customer driven value propositions that reinforce Moody’s leadership across compliance and risk management workflows.
  • Drive Strategic Investment Decisions: Build business cases with financial modelling, customer insight, and competitive analysis to support product investments, build/buy/partner decisions, and resource allocation.
  • Guide Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with commercial teams to refine pricing, ideal customer profiles, market segmentation, and launch strategies, ensuring the product narrative resonates and drives adoption.
  • Lead Innovation & Discovery Initiatives: Drive exploratory workstreams, experiments, and proofs of concept, particularly around AI-driven features and emerging compliance challenges, validating new opportunities before scaling.
  • Partner for Execution & Portfolio Clarity: Collaborate closely with product management and engineering to ensure customer problems are well-defined, requirements are clear, and the product portfolio remains cohesive and scalable.
  • Monitor Performance & Inform Future Strategy: Define key performance indicators, track commercial and user outcomes, and use insights to refine direction, enhance product effectiveness, and identify next stage growth levers.
