Skills And Competencies- 4+ years of experience designing and deploying scalable backend systems; experience with metering, telemetry, or observability systems is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in C++, C#, or Java and deep understanding of Agile and Test-Driven Development.
- 2+ years of experience with public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and building cloud-native services.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of influencing technical decisions across teams.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and streaming data pipelines.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency.
- Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
- Experience with time-series data modelling or analytics, Kafka, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or usage-based billing systems.
- Passion for building dashboards, alerts, and usage metrics for observability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field required.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant discipline is a plus.
