Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by developing new business opportunities and expanding relationships across an assigned portfolio of financial services clients within the German territory.
- Drive sales by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities within an assigned book of existing accounts, while also initiating sales activity with new prospects and managing sales cycles through to closure.
- Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers to drive sales growth within the German sales territory for Moody’s Credit Research, Ratings, and Analytics solutions.
- Manage the full lifecycle sales process, including prospecting new clients, leveraging existing client relationships, delivering sales presentations, and leading contract negotiations.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of client organizations and internal processes to guide clients toward appropriate products and licensing solutions.
- Meet established revenue targets while building and strengthening customer relationships to ensure long-term client satisfaction.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts and pipeline information to management.
- Partner with Product Strategists, Marketing Strategists, and other internal stakeholders to leverage subject-matter expertise throughout the sales cycle and support the promotion of Moody’s solutions.
- Represent the company at industry and company-sponsored events throughout the territory, as required.
- Operate effectively in a dynamic work environment, including up to 50% travel for face-to-face client engagement, while maintaining flexibility through a hybrid working model.
