Skills and Competencies

  • At least 2-3 years within event marketing is required, and B2B event marketing experience is preferred
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple small to medium experiences end-to-end
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal partners and vendors
  • Comfort working from a creative brief and collaborating with SMEs, producers, content, and marketing teams
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility and attention to brand, design, and experience quality
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing priorities
  • Experience working with budgets, contracts, and external suppliers
  • High level of comfort working with event tech platforms, registration tools, and collaboration software

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • The Moody's Ratings Events Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of experiences and activations in the EMEA portfolio, and for supporting larger regional and global programs.
  • This role focuses on delivery of excellence, experience quality, and strong partner collaboration, while continuously improving processes, tools, and ways of working — including the effective use of digital tools, automation, and AI-enabled workflows to drive efficiency, consistency, and quality.
  • Main responsibilities include:
    • Plan and deliver regional events from concept through execution and post-event reporting
    • Support the delivery of larger regional or global programs, working closely with senior team members
    • Translate creative briefs into compelling live and hybrid experiences
    • Partner with brand, content, and creative teams to bring campaigns and narratives to life through events
    • Manage logistics including venues, production, vendors, catering, registration, travel, and on-site execution
    • Own timelines, budgets, and risk management for assigned experiences
    • Serve as the primary operational and creative delivery point of contact for local partners and vendors
    • Ensure all experiences are emotionally engaging, on-brand, memorable, and operationally sound
    • Track performance against KPIs including attendance, engagement, satisfaction, and cost efficiency
    • Capture feedback and insights to inform continuous improvement
    • Use digital tools, automation, and AI-enabled systems to streamline planning, reporting, and communication workflows
    • Contribute to evolving team processes, templates, and toolkits to improve consistency and scalability
