Skills and Competencies

  • 7+ years' experience in product marketing or product management at B2B technology companies; insurance or risk management industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in global marketing roles, growth marketing organizations, and the use of AI technologies.
  • Strong communications skills; history of speaking at events and driving content flow for videos, webinars and demos.
  • Knows how to design a powerful presentation and understands modern marketing, leveraging social and other mediums to extend reach and opportunity.
  • Highly developed written communications skills and a proven creative thinker with innovative product marketing ideas.
  • Skilled at partnering cross-functionally to drive business decision-making; strong team player mentality able to work with many different teams, personalities, and initiatives.
  • Strong grasp of artificial intelligence concepts, with the ability to guide teams in applying AI tools to streamline workflows, uncover insights, and boost marketing efficiency.
  • Curious and forward-thinking mindset with a passion for exploring AI systems and a commitment to learning responsible AI practices—including risk management, ethical use, and transparency.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for driving high-impact marketing strategy for Moody's insurance solutions across life, property & specialty, and casualty lines, grounded in customer and market insights. Other responsibilities include:

  • Understand Moody's customers, channels, and the buyer’s journey, providing “Voice of the Customer” insights and intelligence on where buyers get information and the who, what, when, and why behind their decisions to inform product roadmaps, marketing strategy, and execution decisions.
  • Promote Moody's role in the insurance industry through thought leadership, great storytelling, participation in industry events, and articulating our value proposition in a way that resonates and clearly shows how we solve customer problems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands‑on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency; implement AI‑powered solutions to solve business challenges while maintaining awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.
  • Leverage AI agents to perform in-depth market and competitive research, develop a keen understanding of our competition, and identify areas of competitive differentiation to inform positioning, messaging, enablement materials, marketing programs, and sales training.
  • Develop close partnerships with product management, strategy, sales, and customer success teams to build go‑to‑market strategies, program content, and compelling positioning that drive customer acquisition and retention, while positively influencing analysts, media, and influencers.
  • Create impactful content including customer success stories, presentations, videos, website content, social media, events, webinars, case studies, infographics, blog posts, and more.
  • Lead new product introductions and product launches, manage timelines and alignment across all functions, drive alignment with cross‑functional processes to deliver execution excellence, and track performance of initiatives to identify key insights from data and research.
  • A minimum of two days per week of onsite work at our London office is required to facilitate effective collaboration and foster team engagement.

Our Product Marketing team is responsible for driving adoption of Moody's life, property & specialty, and casualty lines of business within the insurance segment. We create focused, high-impact marketing strategies and plans for our products, solutions, and services portfolio, grounded in deep customer and market insights, while ensuring collaboration, consistency, and cross‑functional success with leaders in marketing, strategy, sales, and product management.
